High carbon content tag with fast oxidizing dull finish.

These are NOT stainless! They are high carbon, magnetic, and WILL rust quickly in humid environments giving an aged antiquated battle-worn look.

These tags may or may not come 'pre-rusted', however you can accelerate the oxidization process by making your own homemade 'rusting solution' consisting of 8oz hydrogen peroxide, 1oz white vinegar, and 1/4 tablespoon of salt and spraying or dripping it onto the tag.

Embossed Characters per Line

The amount of characters per line is depedent on the size of the dogtag, dogtag orientation (i.e. rotated), Character Density CPI (Characters per Inch), & Start Position (i.e. closer to hole). Some of these settings can be changed under the Show Advanced Layout Options in Step 1 of the Dogtag Maker page.
