Ballchain necklace and Dog Tags sold separately.
Our standard mil-spec 2.4mm (3/32") ballchain necklace will fit through the silicone sheath tubing which must be fed through manually by hand. The chain must be completely dry before insertion into the tube, otherwise it may stick to the sides and will not go in smoothly, even a slightly humid environment will dramatically affect the ease of insertion. If the the first few balls do no slide in easily a suggested approach is to rub a very small amount of talcum (baby) powder to the entire length of the chain as this will ensure that it is dry and help lubricate it, If you would rather not do this yourself, it is offered in our pre-assembly service option. You can also watch our YouTUBE video below for visual assembly instructions.

Some people are sensitive to the ballchain rubbing on their skin or getting tangled in hair. By inserting the chain into an optional sheath it can feel smoother on your skin and also adds a personal aesthetic touch to your chain. See our Youtube video on paracord and silicone tube sheaths.
Chains and Fasteners on this page are sold individually (unless indicated otherwise). We have the largest selection of Dog Tag chains available online in many colors, materials and functions. The most popular mil-spec chain is the 30β³ Stainless Steel Ballchain Necklace. We also carry hard-to-find specialty military chains and chain sheaths.
